New to the scene abstract expressionist artist Luke Langthorne holds his second poetry and craft exhibition this Saturday 30th of June at the garden gallery.
His first Exhibition titled, A Vision of Abstraction featured a range of modern artworks for home living and urban and contemporary workspaces.
Influenced by Abstract expressionism, Luke brings the genre up to date with his spontaneous lively pieces.
The compositions would add colour and drama to any minimalist style home, I can see some of the larger pieces really giving life to a boutique hotel lobby or modern shared workspace.
Some works appear to show abstract land and city scapes but these pictures are not about what they represent but the feelings they evoke. They exude spontaneity and expression and are rich with feeling.
Luke also translates his artworks into luxurious artisan knotted rugs which are made to order.
I’m completely drawn to the more muted plates and the considered colour balances
of the blacks golds and dusky blushes! However I’m also LIVING for the vivid flair and exuberance of the bright palate mixes. They have fresh sort of “extra” vibe which is very before their time trend wise.
Go along on Saturday if you need an injection of flair in the form art or soft furnishings for your home or business.
